Work starts on Jacinto City Library

Libraries In The News Work starts By HELEN STAULCUP Correspondent Powitzky’s Construction of Pas¬ adena will build the new public library for Jacinto City at a cost of $162,900. Construction on the library, which will be located at 921 Akron, should start within 10 days with a projected completion date of late November, says Mayor David Gongre. The library is being built on a lot 150 feet wide and 450 feet deep. Plans call for the huge tree lo¬ cated in the front of the lot will be kept with a bench and landscaping added. A handicap ramp and ample parking are also in the architects’ plans.
