Mrs. Otis Harrison, librarian, has announced that along with the presentation of diplomas to 53 children. Mrs. Elizabeth Edghill, of the county library staff, will con¬ duct a rtory hour. All children are Invited to attend. and will present diplomas to 10 children who completed the pre¬ scribed course of the summer read¬ ing club. Children who are qualified to re¬ ceive the diplomas are Elizabeth Dickerson, Ruth Huggins, Leroy Webb, Sylvia Pearl Stern, Susanna Stern, Velma Webb, George Dab¬ ney, Francis Cox, Tommie Jones and Eugene O'Connor. M. Deckard. librarian. The project was sponsored by the Parent- Teachers associations of Humble. Miss Rheba Williams and Mrs. L. Gereaud. assistant county li¬ brarians, made the presentations of 32 reading diplomas Tuesday won by children for summer read¬ ing. About 200 books circulated each month in the Humble branch of the county library. ' school.
