V' Ш I • • r J: October at Galena Park Branch Library was busy, busy, busy. The highlight of the month was the dedication of the grounds for the new library facil ity, to be located at 14th Street and Parkside. Each week crafts relating to Halloween were created by the approached Ф y* •! culminating in a Halloween party and spooky storytelling on children У ■ . October 27. 5. The number of users of the library was up in October as revealed by the У month’s statistics and the higher door count this month. Patrons of all ages and educational backgrounds did research in the library and many У enjoyed the new Ebsco system. Unfortunately, the newly repaired CD-ROM card catalog lasted less than a week before breaking again and having to be returned to the shop.
