Fairbanks Library To Celebrate Anniversary The Fairbanks Branch Library will celebrate its tenth anniversary on Monday, October 6 from 2 until 4p.m. Cake, punch and coffee will be served 8 to guests and the public is invited. A puppet show will be held at 4p.m. for preschool and primary-aged children. The puppet show will last approximately 30 minutes. No reservation is necessary and the program is free of charge. On Wednesday, October 8, Dr. Martha Frede will speak on “The Moving Crisis: Learning to Adjust to Houston”. The program will be presented to parents during the regularly scheduled storyhour and will last approximately 30-45 minutes. This program is free and the public is invited to attend.
