Few changes were neces¬ sary in 1953, In January the library maintained 40 stations and branches in addition to the Bookmobile and 4 supplementary collections which are considered part of a. larger community collection from the standpoint of circulation and book Volume. These supplementary col¬ lections have grown out of necessity and are located In schools where the branch library can not efficiently serve the whole community. At the close of the year the Bookmobile followed a schedule of 39 stops and there was the same number of stations and branches, but several changes had been made. The total number of agencies includes the Central Office, located in the Court House and open to the rural public daily, except Saturday afternoon and Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p*rw The first c tan0e was made in March when Clinton was closed and both the school and the community were given service from the Bookmobile.
